WHAT IS DIAMOND MICRODERMABRASION?

Diamond microdermabration or skin polishing is a light, non-invasive, rejuvenating cosmetic procedure that gently remove the outermost layer of dead skin cells. Much like brushing one's teeth, diamond dermabrasion or skin polishing helps to gently remove skin "plaque" and skin debris.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF DIAMOND MICRODERMABRASION?

The benefits of this treatment are to improve the skin texture, the appearance of fine lines, minimize pore size and reduce hyper-pigmentation. This treatment can be very successful for all skin condition. The other bonus of deep exfoliation is that any further products that are applied to the skin are 50% more effective in their penetration due to the removal of the superficial cells.

HOW DOES DIAMOND MICRODERMABRASION WORK?
Genuine, laser-cut diamond tips gently abrade the upper layer of the skin to polish the skin surface while a vacuum removes particles and impurities and dead skin cells. Imperfections, blemishes, wrinkles and pigmentation can all be removed. This treatment increases the absorption of products into the skin which can help to rejuvenate and replenish the skin still further. It also stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, resulting in a more youthful appearance and healthy skin. The combination of vacuum and pressure ensure diamond-peel uniformity and allow for personalized exfoliation treatments, according to skin type.

WHAT IS THE SKIN APPEARANCE AFTER THE TREATMENT?
The skin can appear slightly flushed straight after treatment, but this will generally fade after a few hours of treatment.

HOW MANY TREATMENTS ARE NEEDED?
A course of 4 to 6 treatments is usually required to see full results. Many clients see an improvement after 2 or 3 treatments. Once results are achieved it is advised that a follow on service every couple of months is booked to maintain the effects.
